The beautiful bronze statue along Waikiki Beach is in honor of Paoa Kahanamoku and his athletic achievements during his lifetime. He won gold and silver medals in the Olympics and introduced the world to the art of surfing.

Through the days of film cameras, Instamatics, slides, and Polaroids, I have been the 'go to' person who has been responsible for documenting our family functions. Photography has always been a hobby, but retirement has afforded me the time and opportunity to develop my lifetime hobby into a passion.
