Description
Cathedral Ledge was purchased in 1899 for $1,000 by a group of visitors and residents. It became a part of the state parks of New Hampshire in 1900.
Visitors have easy access to this spectacular rock formation. A one mile drive up the mountain road and then a short walk to reach the fenced in area at the top of Cathedral Ledge and the spectacular view of the surrounding landscape of New Hampshire! It is actually a cliff that can be seen while driving Rt. 16 on the way to North Conway Village.
