The amazing ancient cave dwellings in Matera, Italy are found in the Sassi district. During our stay, our hotel for the week was a fully restored Sassi dwelling that gave us some insight into life in a by gone era.
About Caroline Stella
Through the days of film cameras, Instamatics, slides, and Polaroids, I have been the 'go to' person who has been responsible for documenting our family functions. Photography has always been a hobby, but retirement has afforded me the time and opportunity to develop my lifetime hobby into a passion.
