Description
This house has the historical claim of being the narrowest house in Boston and is located across from the historic Copps Burial Ground. Legend has the explanation as a "Spite" house.
Two brothers were engaged in a family feud and to spite the other, one brother built the house to block the sunlight and the view for the other brother. According to legend, the feud developed while one brother was serving in the military and records show that the house was built after the American Civil War.
